• Year 2: Focus on oral biology, pathology, preventive dentistry, and supervised patient care. Students start to apply their theoretical knowledge in clinical settings, treating patients under supervision.
• Year 3: Emphasis on restorative dentistry, periodontology, pediatric dentistry, and General Dental Services placements. Students gain more hands-on experience and begin to manage their own patient caseloads.
• Year 4: Advanced topics such as oral surgery, orthodontics, and special care dentistry. Students take on more complex cases and refine their clinical skills in preparation for professional practice.
• Year 5: Final year focuses on preparing students for their transition into dental practice, with opportunities to manage complex cases, refine clinical skills, and prepare for professional registration.
